In every town and village is a man like Tom; a kind of "Mr Fix It." No job is too big or too small for men like Tom. Although he's not a rich man, he is a contented one, and his labours are fuelled by a constant supply of hot, sweet tea, brought to him by his ever-caring wife, Rosie.
   For many months now, Tom has been carefully and skillfully refurbishing a gypsy friend's caravan. This demanding challenge is very much a labour of love rather than one for profit. Each day, he sets aside at least three hours to work on the old caravan. If he had his way, and if he could afford to, he'd spend every hour on this ancient vehicle, such is his interest in it, but alas, he does have to earn a living from doing other jobs.
   Folk have often asked Tom the question, "What do you do in your spare time?" Smiling, he always gives the same answer, "What spare time?" Despite that, though, if you're ever passing Tom's Yard, don't be afraid to call in; he'll always make time for a chat, and there's always a fresh pot of tea on the stove.
