Created in David's Studio for Christmas 2005. Kevin Pearson suggested the subject matter and originally it was planned that there would be a partner cottage for Sairey's invisible friend, Mrs. Harris. Mrs. Harris's home was set on the back burner but we hope some day it will be born.

Prototype 1 |
Prototype 2 | At the left are two colour trials. This cottage has undergone many changes since its inception by David. The first trials were produced in Resin but after Martin Perry announced his retirement we took the opportunity to see if we could move production to Crystical. This cottage was one of the ones which was used to compare the ability/quality of various companiey's production. The choice was soon narrowed down to two companies and I think when you look at the samples you will agree that although the costs are higher the quality is so much better from the company we have chosen.
At about the same time we gained access to the old Myland paints that were used by John Hine. I am happy to say these will also now be used on all future models. |
