Keepers Cottage
Is of course the Keeper of the Loch's cottage but that name would have been confusing. Like all the keepers cottages in the area it is cared for with great pride. First white, then cream, then pink, each year it is painted for the annual keepers competition. The competition is for the cottage that has the best garden and is the prettiest. Finding time to do the garden is easy for the Keeper as he waits for the boats but painting is difficult as being half way up a ladder is frowned on as it keeps the boats waiting for their passage.
The keeper also acts as an unofficial guide charming the travelers with historic tales of extreme brutality and loyalty almost told in the same breath. Nessie of course dominates many of the stories and he swears that his ancestors were amongst the first to see Nessie.
