We last saw Baroness Hardunbuy (now known as Dulcie) stomping off from the Folly with the intention of putting as great a distance as possible between herself and her ex-husband, the utterly vile and mad Baron Fourthrite.
   Time has been kind to her as once away from the trees, which she loathed, she shed many pounds and gained glamour. In an attempt to escape the hated trees, she joined a sailing club (there being few trees out at sea) and has fallen uncontrollably in love with the club's commodore, Horation Pernickety. He has decided to hold a reception at his spectacular home to introduce his sweetheat to his friends -- and asparagus is to feature on the menu.
   At the front door (which of course is round the back) we see the Greenwood Forest Asparagus Company delivery man with boxes of the scrumptious delicacy. But wait -- doesn't that figure look familiar; no! it couldn't be...could it?
