Sculpted with memories of Hampton Court and thoughts of some of the more well-known parts of his life, this imaginative castle implies many of the things King Henry was famous and infamous for.
He is probably most thought of for his multiple wives and his unique way of changing them, but acting as a philandering, romantic, lecher was only a tiny part of his life. His passionate love for the ladies and desperation for a male heir were the cause of one of the greatest changes in the church--the beginning of the protestant religion with the King of England, not the Pope, at its head.
He also renewed fortifications with castles across the country. He created a strong, well-trained navy, and designed and put into practice a parliamentary system that has served England well to this day.
