The addition of two new cottages to the quiet little village located well over hill and dale from the Friary Ruins, caused quite a stir and nosy neighbours chattered and chattered.
The arrival of a Friar even if he no longer wore the robes was deemed a good thing. Surely such a man of faith would be a pillar of the community and inspire the local youth to turn away from sinful thoughts and deeds and follow the good book?
But wait.... What's this?... Surely not.... A pile of milk churns left on the friar's porch? The plot thickens--they are still there the next morning. The gossip mongers stand on every corner.... Wedding bells had better ring soon or Rosie and our Friar will be outcasts!
