Captain Foley had spent his entire army life traveling through the tropics of Africa and India.
   He knew that one day he would retire and return back home to England and the family's ancestral seat at Foley Castle.
   What he didn't know was that while he was away the castle had fallen into a much worse state of repair than he could have imagined. Of course he had sent money home for the upkeep, but left all the details to his trusted butler.
   What he also didn't know was that the butler, who was trying to do his very best for his master, had done a two-way correspondence course in architectural maintenance. Needless to say, he could have done with a few more days.
   Captain Foley had loved his castle and on his arival home after 35 years away, wasn't at all sure what he was about to see. His memory of the castle had grown dim and though what he found was nothing like what he remembered, he nevertheless fell in love with what he saw all over again.
