The Christmas and New Year tradiition of pantomime has its roots in music halls and pubs. "Down at the Old Bull and Bush" is one of the most famous songs of this era and David sculpted his interpretation of the pub that inspired it. (The real one is in North London, between Hampstead Heath and Golders Green.)
