No wonder that when deciding to convert his country cottage into an Inn our Landlord (Bill) decided to call it the Blue Bell Inn. Apart from the fact that the village was already a village that enjoyed naming its homes after flowers, Blue Bells are the most popular flowers in England and so, what better name for the local Pub. Truth be told it really is more like a pub than an inn. With one bedroom upstairs for Bill, there is only room enough for a couple of guest chambers and Bill, though jovial enough during opening hours, does not encourage overnight paying guests.
Bill has never told anyone that he really doesnŐt have to work (courtesy of the Lottery). His country cottage really was a country cottage and he has a much more sophisticated (and hugely expensive) home in London Town. However, he does not want people to befriend him because he is rich and he also is secretly hoping to marry some day, though he is not quite sure who.
